To shape our future, the Digital Europe programme is built to move our economy and society towards a digital world. These technologies play a critical role in our private lives and business environments as we rely on them to communicate, work, advance science and answer current environmental problems. This reliance was highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic which also showed the importance of Europe to be independent from systems coming from other regions of the world.
